06 Jun My Blog + New.Wav Instagram Videos
Originally, I had made this sections of my site as a “Photo Blog” to display all my photography shots that I had taken with my Canon 80d which was mostly for leisure. However, I do not think I have taken the full steps yet and satisfied enough to actually call myself an “Photographer” or an “Artist” just yet. I like to record videos and edit them together and create something that people think is great, cool and will love. Therefore I’m quicker to say that I am a “Videographer” or “Video Producer” or even “Creator”. These titles feel much more luxurious to me. I have taken hundreds of photos since my last post in January from my second trip to Trinidad in February to strolling the streets, parks and subways of Toronto. I even took a trip to the ROM when I find out my old student card at York could still be used to get me in for free. It’s probably best for me to post these pictures out, being that I have not updated the blog for pretty much the entire 2017 year. I will looking to do this in the coming days. Furthermore, I have decided to though to drop the whole photo blog thing and just make it just simply a blog. That way rather than just showing my photos, I can show others thing that I am doing or interested in. Things that I might like to write, or see on the internet that I think is pretty cool or videos that I created.
For instance I decided in this Blog Post to show the sizzle videos I made for my friends at New.Wav. Back in November of 2016 I had posted some photos that I had taken during a podcast sessions at their radio station that you can check out here. During that time I had also created an a little video of them just doing their thing while they were creating their podcast and enjoying the time together.
Since creating this video for my pals at New.Wav, I have gotten to do several sizzle videos for some of the party they have been hosting all over Toronto. I enjoy working on these videos a lot for several reasons:
- I like helping and supporting my friends in this movement
- They give me the chance to do my thing without any restrictions and just have fun it.
- These parties are always wild and packed.
- I get to dance with my camera hand.
